A note from our fearless leader
Ever since I can remember, home remodeling has been a foundational part of my life. As the son of a contractor of 47 years, I grew up with a tool belt forever strapped to my waist and an ever-growing passion for residential construction. I worked for my dad every summer until I was 18, facilitating home improvements and helping with installations. Needless to say, I was hooked. At the age of 18, I went into the family business full-time, working my way up from Carpenter’s Helper, to Carpenter, and ultimately Project Manager. Along the way, I taught myself AutoCad and began designing, which I did for my father until I eventually moved on to pursue other opportunities.
My next opportunity came at another remodeling firm, where I specialized in kitchen and bathroom design. It was here that I became versed in every aspect of the business beyond home design itself—from operations to customer service. In 2017, though, everything changed. I tragically lost my best friend since 7, the person closest to me in the entire world. That transformative event led me to do some self-reflection about the fleeting nature of life, and I decided then and there that I was going to start living mine to the fullest. For me, that meant starting the business that had been my dream for most of my life. Three months later, I officially launched Capital Design, and I haven’t looked back since. What began as an entrepreneurial endeavor has since developed into a dynamic and flourishing business with the power of a tenured team behind it. Today, Capital Design is a fully staffed, one-stop-shop for all your home improvement needs. Yes, we’re passionate about our work, but we’re even more passionate about the clients we work alongside.
I hope to get the chance to work with you as you navigate your next remodeling project!
